Password Management Service: Overview

The operations in the Password Management service, along with the POST /api/login/authenticateWithPasswordResetCode operation in the Login service, support resetting the user password.

Action	Endpoint	Description
send password reset code	POST /api/passwordmanagement/sendPasswordResetCode	Validates the email address provided in the request, generates a password reset code, and sends the reset code in an email to the validated address. This operation is called when a user requests a password reset.
validate password reset request	POST /api/passwordmanagement/validatePasswordResetCode	Validates a password reset request. Includes support of security challenge questions.
validate password reset code	POST /api/passwordmanagement/validatePasswordResetCode	Validates a password reset code. Does not support security challenge questions.
